ABOUT US
UnderstanDOG was created with the purpose of helping dog owners achieve a better relationship with their dogs. By applying the best science-based methods and a positive approach to promote a well-behaved dog while understanding each other better. We believe everyone needs a little bit of help and guidance whether adopting a new puppy or caring for an adult dog.
Fixing undesirable behaviours is often the goal when raising our beloved pets, but sometimes it fails even after you’ve tried your best, and you find yourself in the awkward position of looking for professional help. We want to be that support and help you and your dog bond and achieve greatness while having fun at the same time. You don’t need to wait for your dog to start displaying troublesome behaviours before calling for help. In fact, the best thing we can do is work to prevent these all together by acting early.
Services
1-on-1 Training
This is time dedicated to working individually with your dog at your place or a non-distracting location. We will work together alone to help straighten out those difficult behaviours, or teach some new commands and tricks.

1 hour + sessions
Puppy Foundations
Covers a basic introduction and the most important foundations for you and your puppy to build upon for developing a well-socialized dog with good manners learned for the future.

6 weeks +
Behaviour Consultation
If you have a dog with a specific behaviour problem that requires a bit more in-depth attention. This is the best way to start and we can sit down and talk about a training plan for you and your dog.
Family Planning
Planning to introduce a new fur member into your family? This is where I can help you choose a suitable dog for your family and life situation and give everyone an introduction of what to expect. Along with a follow up after your dog has arrived to set you up for success.
